What is Laser Therapy? A surgery-free, drug-free, noninvasive treatment to:
  • Reduce Pain
  • Reduce Inflammation
  • Speed Healing
Class IV deep tisuue laser therapy uses a beam of laser light to deeply penetrate tissue without damaging it. Laser energy induces a biological response in the cells called"photo-bio-modulation", which leads to reduced pain, reduced inflammation, and increased healing speed.

Everyone needs to "paws" to play once in a while, and that's what we like to do at the Animal Clinic's Playful Paws Doggie Daycare. Your pet can stay with us for the day or half of the day!! He or she will enjoy playing with our staff and other daycare playmates. One on one time and group play is what we like to do. Your dog can choose to lounge on a doggy bed and enjoy the view of the pond with its swans and geese, or go outside for awhile and get some fresh air and sunshine.

To preserve the health of your pet, it is recommended that he or she receive a yearly physical examination. Key to prevention of disease or illness, a comprehensive physical examination is the most important step you can take to ensure your pet's well-being and long term health.
Required vaccinations for your pet are vital to prevent common infectious diseases. The frequency of immunizations will depend on a variety of factors: animal's age, vaccination history and threats by locale. An immunization schedule that is species-specific and consistent with your pet's lifestyle will be recommended.

Typically, dogs will be protected against distemper, hepatitis, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, parvo virus, corona virus, kennel cough and rabies.

Cat's immunizations include panleukopenia (distemper), rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, Chlamydia, rabies, and feline leukemia.
At the Animal Clinic we use only the safest available anesthesia.  We use the latest surgical techniques and equipment and take great care in monitoring your pet's heartbeat, blood pressure, and oxygen level.  Post-operative care includes appropriate pain management and lots of TLC.  We understand that your pet is a family member and that separation from him or her may be stressful.  Be assured that the entire Animal Clinic team is committed to sensitive, compassionate care of your pet until discharge.

Dentistry is often overlooked as it relates to your pets health.  If left untreated, diseases of the mouth, gums or jaw are not only painful to your companion, but may also be contributing factors to more systemic disease damaging the heart, liver, and kidney.  The American Veterinary Dental Society reports 80% of dogs and 70% of cats show signs of oral disease by age 3.  The beginning and severity of periodontal disease depends on age, breed, diet and at-home care, with small-breed dogs typically presenting with infection earlier than large-breed dogs.  Abnormal signs and symptoms of dental abnormalities include: pain, bad breath, excessive drooling, fractured or loose teeth, bleeding of gums, tumors, sores or wounds.  Regular dental care is more than cosmetic, tarter and plaque carry bacteria that get into your pet's bloodstream causing disease. The Animal Clinic staff is well-skilled and equipped to perform dental procedures such as:
  • Ultrasound de-scaling of tarter
  • Deep gum cleaning
  • Application of Ora vet sealants
  • Teeth polishing
  • Extractions
If your pet needs lab tests to provide diagnostics, the Animal Clinic's on-site laboratory is well equipped with cutting-edge technologies that provide reliable, prompt results. Diagnostic tests and procedures include:
  • Electrocardiogram (ECG)
  • Blood chemistry analysis
  • Complete blood count
  • Heartworm test
  • Feline leukemia/FIV test
  • Parvo virus
  • Fecal flotation
  • Urinalysis
  • Skin and ear cytology
  • Skin scrapings
  • Radiographs (X-Ray)
  • Thyroid
  • Allergy testing
You need not feel guilty leaving your companion animal while you're at work, away for the day, traveling, on business or on vacation. Pets will be pleased and well cared for by the Animal Clinic's animal-loving team members!

Our kennel staff has the experience and personal commitment to ensure that your pet receives affection and friendship...almost like home! And you can take comfort knowing that a veterinarian is available.
Dogs are routinely exercised 2-3 times daily, and for a stress free stay, separate areas are provided for our canine and feline guests. Since both species consider eating to be a highlight of the day we serve premium Science diet food, although you may certainly bring in your cat or dog's own food from home.

Animals are admitted and released during normal office hours.

For permanent pet identification we can implant a microchip under your pet's skin.  As painless as a vaccination the microchip contains pertinent information that can be read by a special scanner to quickly identify your pet as "owned", avoiding a mistaken euthanasia and reuniting the two of you.
